Langver are the leading manufacturers of Curtainsider Tensioners in the world. We supply our products to all the major coachbuilders in the UK, as well as reaching a worldwide clientelle including Canada, USA, Australia, South Africa and mainland Europe.

The expertise of our engineers has ensured that the original designs of Langver have stood the test of time, with tensioners still in production after many years, supplementing the new designs our customers require. Many copies have come on to the market in recent years, but Langver more than compete by producing a reliable, high quality finished product, on time, at a reasonable price. This has been achieved by using the latest modern technology at our purpose built factory in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. C.N.C machining, laser profiling and robot welding are just a few of the engineering techniques used to produce Langver Tensioners from top quality mild steel.

Our range of products vary from a simple bar tensioner (R.50) to our ever popular lever ratchets (R.45) onto worm gear tensioners (WG) and also jacking units (JU.10). Langver take pride in our ratchets being versatile in both the attachment to the trailer and having the correct drive spindle to fit the customer's needs. We make a variety of fixing plates, levers, latches, spindles and accessories to help the coachbuilder choose the correct tensioner to meet his requirements. We sell our tensioners in batches of over one thousand pairs down to single units, as well as spare parts to suit. Many items are ex-stock and can be delivered next day within the UK. On assembly, all tensioners are subject to an extensive quality inspection before leaving the factory. Our products are finished with a PS100 passivate sealant, which added to the zinc plating, not only looks good, but gives a better resistance to salt water spray.
